Privacy, in plain words.
A summary of how Blisk handles photos and data, and the rules for this website.
- What we keep
- Photographer and guest photos for each event, and overall numbers of visits and downloads, not per guest. Until the event is deleted we also keep a pseudonymous device ID and the consents given, visit records with a daily visitor ID, the email addresses of guests who signed up for updates, requests to hide photos, reports of unsuitable photos and blocked devices, and the name and email address of each photographer the organizer invites to upload. At events outside Slovenia where the organizer switches on face search, also the data that search uses.
- For how long
- 90 days after the event. Then everything is deleted automatically, and the organizer gets a reminder a week before.
- Where
- On our server in Germany (Hetzner, Nuremberg). Photos are used only for the event page and its features, nothing else.
- Who decides
- The event organizer decides about their event’s photos; Blisk processes them on the organizer’s behalf.
- Guests
- Every event page links the privacy notice and shows the date the photos will be deleted.
- Face recognition
- We do not use face recognition at events in Slovenia.
- Removing a photo
- Choose “Hide me in this photo” to ask the organizer to hide you. The organizer can blur or remove any photo at any time. You can also write to us.
- Your rights
- You can ask to see your data or have it deleted. Write to privacy@getblisk.com. You can also complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (ip-rs.si).
Full privacy policy
This site (getblisk.com) uses no tracking cookies or analytics and loads nothing from other servers. If you sign in to the dashboard, getblisk.com sets a session cookie that keeps you signed in. If you write to us through the form, we receive your message (name, email, who you are, the event’s date and size, your message) by email and use it only to reply. The site stores none of it; our mailbox keeps it while we are in touch and for at most 12 months after our last contact. Resend (servers in the EU) helps us send email, and the mailbox is with Google. For security, the server keeps technical logs (IP address, time, page requested) for a short time. How we handle photos and guests’ data is set out in the privacy notice on each event’s page. This text is a draft; a lawyer will review it before the first paid event.
